Not only a beautiful wooded landscape, mingled with settlements and vineyards, which give us the glorious Teran wine and the well-known Karst prosciutto, the Karst represents much more. Here we find special natural phenomena that are not found elsewhere in Slovenia and which have given their name to similar phenomena elsewhere in the world. Here we find wonderful cycling and other thematic routes, beautiful caves and, of course, friendly and hospitable locals.
Doesn't that sound inviting? Why not avoid road traffic, expensive and always overcrowded car parks and easily access fascinating Trieste by bike. On the way to Trieste, you can visit the beautiful, very interesting Divaška cave, which is, so often, compared to the beauty of the Škocjan caves.
